Dortmund have been different from day one. in 1909, 18 youth players came together to build what would become of Germany’s and Europe’s powerhouse clubs in a small room of the Wildschutz Inn. As the Black and Yellow return to tradition with the return of their famous black bars down their bright yellow jersey, so too does the design follow suit – equipping itself with a subtle graphic inside the bars that is representative of the windows of the Wildschutz Inn, where the club was founded. The present remembers the past. Text reading “Borussia Verbindet” is inscribed on the back neck.
